New boy arrives!

23rd December 2021

We are really pleased to welcome a new boy from Sweden to help diversify the lines. Upendo (meaning ‘Love’ in Swahili) has arrived thanks to Jenny Nystrom, and we look forward to seeing him out and about very soon.

Sokoke BAC created

25th November 2021

Now that the breed has Championship status, there is now a Sokoke BAC. The BAC controls the Standard of Points and Registration Policy. It also appoints new Probationer Judges and helps them progress through the Judge appointment scheme. Please check out the new BAC page on the site here

Sokoke gains Championship status

We are so pleased announce that at the recent meeting of GCCF Council, the Sokoke was awarded Championship status. Great news after 7 years of hard work from breeders & exhibitors!

Sokoke at the Supreme Show

We were pleased to meet so many fans of the breed at the show. The Club had a table so that we could discuss with interested people. We also had Kasafari Embe in competition. He went on to win his 6th Merit certificate - and to be considered for Best of Variety.
